Here are some helpful hints to make your advertisements appealing to AutumnsList Community members
Follow these helpful hints to help your business grow
DO:
- Create an AutumnsList account with personal information on it other than your business name.
- Make it personal. If you sound like a business just trying to sell people things, then your advertisements will be in vain! This is a community website, be a part of it and you will be rewarded.
- Create a Group for your business with relevant information and then set up an advertisement for the group page, which can be done right on the Design An Ad page.
- Ask people (notice we said ASK) to refer their friends IF they like what you have to offer, instead of friending all of their friends and spamming their inbox or wall (this will get you banned).
- Create customer relations. Ask and answer questions. Take a true interest in your customers. Most people are turned off by canned responses.
- It helps to wear the shoe on the other foot! - Picture walking into a store with workers that aren't friendly and don't seem to have your interest anywhere in their top priorities. They are anxious for you to purchase something and that is it. They don't care what you purchase or why, they just want your money. When you leave, they want you to come back over and over, even if you're not interested in what they've got. It's a horrible experience for both you and them!
When you look at it from a different perspective, it all makes sense and the benefits are endless!
DO NOT:
- SPAM users walls with advertisements, this will get you banned quickly!
- SPAM users inbox with advertisements, this will get you banned quickly!
So many people think these types of advertisements are good, but truthfully all they do is annoy people. Our users will click the delete button without even reading your pitch. Focus your efforts on SPAM free advertisements and you will see real sales conversions. In your face advertisements are old and useless!
