Here is some information that I have found about Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd has sold over 220 Million Albums worldwide!
The bands name was in honor of blues' musicians Pinkney 'Pink' Anderson and Floyd Council.
They toured with Jimi Hendrix!
Roger Waters was the second lead vocalist and writer for the band, Syd Barrett was first until LSD use destroyed him!
"Dark Side of the Moon" was released in 1973, selling over 25 million copies and staying on the Billboard Chats for over a decade.
In 1979 they released a double album, "The Wall", it would go on to be their second biggest selling album.
In 1987 Gilmore and Mason joined up once again with Wright for the new Floyd.
